Lost game dvd
Hi, I need some help please.
I recently wanted to try out Guild Wars again, but I lost my dvd with all expansions on the disc. I've downloaded the basic client from the official website, but I want to get the rest of the expansions to play also. I've tried some googling and found a download link for factions, but that's about it. The rest is pay now and download etc, but I've paid for license keys already. I don't want to torrent, so can someone give me some help please. |

If you already had all of the expansions installed previously before you lost the discs, then by downloading the client you should have all of the expansions installed with it.
I also just lost my discs when I was wanting to play again, I just downloaded the client on the website and I have all of my expansions with it. |

If you have downloaded the client and installed it the easiest way to download everything and all campaigns without waiting for areas to load while playing is
add an -image command to the desktop shortcut As an example "D:\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image (there is a space between exe" and -image) just a warning it will take a long time to download everything. As long as you haven't lost your name and pass you registered with you should be good to play. Hope it helps Also never ever download GW from a torent/P2P you don't know what your getting hidden in there. Last edited by Aussie Boy; Apr 16, 2009 at 03:41 AM // 03:41.. |

Everytime my comp goes down from viruses or whatnot i just go and download the client from the website. Also I keep a copy of my game .dat file on a flash drive to stop all the downloading every new area when it happens i just copy it into the gw directory and voila i have all my old content already downloaded and no waiting 6 hours for loading all the info.

The client is the least important thing. The account determines what you can access. If you remember the account info then everything is fine. The discs were to only install faster so you don't have to -image.
